1. What this website is

PenCompare is an independent price comparison website for weight management medicines supplied by pharmacies and providers registered in the United Kingdom. We publish prices, fees and provider information to help you compare what different providers charge.

2. What this website is not

We are not a pharmacy, a clinic, a healthcare provider or a prescriber. We do not sell, supply or dispense medicines. We do not issue prescriptions. We do not carry out clinical assessments.

Nothing on this site is medical advice, and nothing on this site should be treated as a recommendation that any particular treatment is suitable for you. We compare; we do not prescribe. Whether a medicine is appropriate for you is a decision for a registered prescriber who has assessed you, and for no one else.

Prescription-only medicines can only be supplied against a valid prescription issued by an appropriately registered prescriber. Using this site does not create any clinical relationship between you and us.

3. Accuracy of prices and information

We check prices independently and record when each was last checked. Even so, prices, fees, stock and delivery options change frequently and can change between our last check and your visit.

  • Prices shown are for guidance. The price that applies to you is the price shown by the provider at checkout.
  • Always confirm the final total, including all compulsory fees, on the provider’s own website before paying.
  • We do not guarantee that any provider will accept you as a patient, or that any medicine will be in stock or suitable for you.

4. Third-party websites

This site links to websites operated by pharmacies, providers and other third parties. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, their services, their terms, or how they handle your personal data. When you leave PenCompare, the third party’s own terms and privacy policy apply.

5. Affiliate links and sponsored placements

Some links on this site are affiliate links, and some listings are paid placements. This is explained in full in our Affiliate Disclosure. In short: commission does not affect the ranking of our comparison tables, and paid placements are shown separately and labelled.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the site for any unlawful purpose;
  • copy, scrape or systematically extract our comparison data for republication or commercial use without our written permission;
  • attempt to interfere with, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or any system connected to it;
  • submit anything false, misleading or unlawful through any form on the site.

The content, layout, comparison methodology and branding of this site are owned by us or licensed to us, except where third-party material is identified as such. Brand names and trade marks of medicines and providers belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.

We provide this site on a reasonable-effort basis and do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every price is current at the moment you read it.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on information published here, from your dealings with any provider, or from your use of any third-party website. 10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, save that if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
